A new partnership with The Sand Project 

Beehive Care is proud to partner with The Sand Project, a Worthing-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting young people aged 16-25 with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The Sand Project empowers these young adults to build independence and secure opportunities for paid employment through extensive work experience and targeted skills development.

As part of their programme, trainees actively seek real-world experiences to enhance their CVs, boost confidence, and prepare for future employment. Beehive Care contributes by providing meaningful work placements at our D Café and Community Dementia Hive, giving trainees valuable insights into dementia care and community support roles.

The Sand Project is currently seeking opportunities for trainees to visit and experience various industries through supervised work placements, each accompanied by a dedicated job coach. Participating businesses will find working with trainees both rewarding and enjoyable.
